It's been a hell of a season fellas. Now, let's put the icing on the cake with a victory Wednesday night.

I'm not sure who the Bees are facing yet, but we should know after tonight.  I'll keep you guys posted.

Great job Neil. You played your heart out! It certainly didn't help that we spent 15 minutes in the box. Come on guys, it's men's league.

Loren, we're looking foward to having you back refreshed and ready to play next week. Also, everyone has now been warned to bring $9 cash to pay you for their shirt.

Our game on Wednesday is at 9:30 and we play White for first place in the regular season. Currently, we both have a record of 6-3 so be sure to come ready to play. The Killer Bees have yet to clinch a division title, and a banner would look nice on my wall.

If you're not going to make this game please ad a comment to this post so I can adjust the line-up, but as for now here's what we're going with:

We've got a game on Wednesday that we're missing quite a few people for. If you know of anyone that wants to play just bring them. I'll bring the extra yellow jersey I have.

These are a few of the text messages and voice mails I received Wednesday night before and after Neil Nadel raised up to the challenge of defending the hive from the sharp-shooting Blue team. Thank you Neil and from what I've been told you've got one mean glove.

To top it all off, that victory tied us with White for first place as they were dethroned Monday by Red (2-1). That's right fellas... this Wednesday Night at 9:30 the torch will be passed when we faceoff against White in front of those who matter most in our lives, the ladies.

Invite them and prepare them for a night of entertainment like they've never seen before. Also, be sure they're aware refreshments will not be served during the game, so if they want them they will need to bring their own.

Lastly, I don't have stats so I'll add them next week. I'm ready to skate.

Good luck on Wednesday fellas. I will not be there and I don't think Gilmore will be either.

Although, next week (Wednesday) is Lady's Night so prepare your female friends (girlfriends, wives, moms, grandmas, and great-grandmas [if you're lucky enough], sisters, aunts, etc...) for a fantastic night of Men's League Hockey.  In fact, we're going to have our team picture then as well so come early and we'll get it on the ice before the game starts.

I just finished updating the website with the schedule on the home page, new videos and pictures on the media page, and all the stats are updated accordingly. We play against White tonight at 10:00pm so I'll see you all there.

Welcome T.J. Sansone to the Indy Killer Bees. T.J. played last year and is returning to STING with the bees once again.  T.J. plays defense, but like us all can move around accordingly. He'll be wearing Sam "never heard from him" Glanders jersey, #10.

Everyone who owes $12 for their jersey be sure to bring it on Wednesday.  If you're writing a check make it out to "Matt Douglass". There should be no reason this isn't paid on Wednesday.

Last note, we play Red at 9:30 and they lost to White 5-4 last week.

The Indy Killer Bees PCAHL debut was a huge success. We triumphed over the Blue team 8-2 and left them scoreless in the second period.  Accolades go to Neiderkorn for his 5 goal day, Klahen for his 3 assists, and Long for some outstanding goal tending.  All the stats are now posted.

Our next game is vs. Red on Wednesday, October 14th at 9:30pm. 

If you haven't already, please register with USA hockey and bring your confirmation number with you on Wednesday.  Carrie is requiring this from all players.

Last note, we have 2 (or 3 depending on Sam) roster spots available that I would like to fill.  We'll go first come first served in order to fill these.  If you can think of anyone just have them fill out the form on our Contact Us page and I'll be in touch.

Right now there are 4 Matt's on our team (Alexander, Douglass, McIntyre, and Walsh) and I'm hoping to squeeze in a couple more with the last two roster spots available.  Let's try and snag two more skaters this weekend to round out the team.

Also, I've drafted this up for us to keep the basic stats (that I'm willing to update on the website) during each game.  We'll have a clipboard on the bench for whoever is not skating to fill it out.

Eat your Wheaties this weekend fellas.  The season starts on Monday at 10:00.  Get there early to get your socks and jerseys.

Our first game is only 5 days away.  We play Monday night at 10:00.  Write down the full schedule at pcahl.com, because I won't do this every week ;-)

Make sure you register TODAY to save some money on fees.  Also, make sure you ask for "our socks" and pay the extra $15.

On game day Douglass and I will have the jersey's ready to hand out so arrive early and bring your checkbooks.  I'm not sure what the final price of the jersey will be but expect it to be in-between $10-$15 and we will not have change.
